The first 35K special big tow carbonization production line of prepreg in Jilin chemical industry has been put into production in the northeast of Jilin province.

35K prepreg special big tow carbonization production line is the first domestic patent technology independently developed by the Jilin chemical industry. The annual production capacity of a single production line can reach more than 3000 tons. The mechanical strength index reached the industry-leading level of T700. “The production line will promote the upgrading of the entire carbon fiber industry chain when it comes into operation,” said Jilin chemical.

This is another key project after the first 35K large-scale wind power special harness carbonization line was put into operation this year. In the spring of 2022, Jilin chemical opened the first 35K large-tow carbonization wind power production line, becoming the first national carbon fiber production of 6000 tons of enterprises. The line, with a single line capacity of more than 2,500 tonnes, is the first to go into operation since the outbreak of the Jilin Chemical Covid-19.

This carbonization line is the first large-scale wire-beam carbonization line in China, which is specially used for 35K wind power generation. Products are mainly aimed at domestic well-known wind turbine blade manufacturers, such as Sany heavy industry, Shanghai Electric, Mingyang Electric, and so on.
