What are the advantages of using the pultrusion profile
A pultrusion profile is a construction component manufactured using standard fiberglass, such as angles, tubes, I-beams and other shapes.
Most of our products are manufactured using three different manufacturing methods depending on the end use. Pultrusion molding, molding process and hand gluing.
Each process has its own unique application. Due to the nature of the pultrusion process, this method offers several advantages over other methods, such as increased strength, higher corrosion resistance and better impact resistance.
The main pultrusion profiles are: FRP angle, FRP round tube, FRP I-beam (FRP h-beam), FRP square tube, FRP channel, etc. It is mainly to replace steel, wood and aluminum.
Total life cycle cost is significantly lower than traditionally used materials, such as wood and steel.
No lifting equipment required
pultrusion profiles are light in weight and easy to handle and transport. They require less equipment, workers and installation time. In addition, pultrusion profiles and structural systems can be installed on site using standard tools. This reduces the risk of on-site injury and downtime associated with traditional materials and installation equipment.
Fiberglass products withstand weathering and UV usage environments. After installation, fiberglass products are low maintenance and sustainable over time.
Fiberglass products are non-conductive and can be produced with a non-slip surface to provide a safe working environment for employees.
In terms of weight, fiberglass profiles are two-thirds the weight of aluminum and one-quarter the weight of steel. Staff accustomed to handling heavy steel beams or wooden poles will find pultrusion profiles easier to use.
Fiberglass products are easier to handle, move and install, thus minimizing transportation and maintenance costs.
